There are moments when you have to gently remind your own heart of what is true: God has everything you need. And yet, even as you say those words, a quiet question can rise up: Do I really believe that?

Our trust was never meant to rest in circumstances, people, or feelings. It was always meant to be anchored in Jesus alone. Yet when we allow our situation or someone else’s opinion to become the loudest voice in our lives, those things begin to teach us what to believe. And slowly, truth starts to sound like a lie.

God never intended for you to figure this life out on your own. He invites you to come to Him; to ask, to seek, and to depend on His guidance in a way that feels real and necessary.

He rose so that everything in your life that feels dead, stuck, or broken would not have the final word. Resurrection means life where there was once loss…strength where there was once weakness…hope where there once felt like there was none. And that same power didn’t stay in the tomb.

If you have felt that lingering emptiness, you are not alone. Scripture reminds us that God never intended for us to live without direction. In Ephesians, we are encouraged not to live foolishly, but to understand what the will of the Lord is. These words are not a demand placed upon us, but an invitation extended by God Himself, an invitation to walk closely enough with Him that His guidance begins to unfold within the ordinary moments of life.

Life isn’t defined by what we lost or by who walked away. It is shaped by the purpose God placed inside us from the very beginning.

He created you intentionally. Your life matters to Him. Your story matters to Him.

And the beautiful part is this: He has never left your side, not for a single moment.

Maybe today is simply an invitation to stop staring at the empty places and begin noticing the One who has been walking beside you the whole time.

You don’t have to believe every thought that passes through your mind.

What would change if you started believing God’s truth instead of the lies?

In Greek, the word for God’s love is agape. This is the love that moved God to send His Son to redeem the world, a love with depth and meaning that never fades. In Hebrew, the word for love is ahavah, which comes from a root meaning to give. To love is to give.

No matter the language or definition, love is more than a feeling. Love is an action. Love is giving. Love is a connection.

Are you facing a situation right now where you honestly do not see a way out? The stress at work feels unmanageable. Maybe your marriage feels heavy or distant.

Perhaps you are worried about your children and the choices they are making. Maybe you are exhausted from trying to feel better, and nothing has changed.

No matter what your present circumstance is, no matter how hard it feels or how blocked the path looks, there is still a way forward.

Looking back on our past can sometimes make us miserable. Our minds have a way of waving red flags over the most challenging moments, replaying the hurt and pain until it feels like our entire story is made up of suffering. When that happens, it’s easy to believe that our past was all painful and had no purpose.

But that isn’t true. When we allow ourselves to look again, we can begin to see everything God has done to carry us through the hard seasons, and we can remember the good moments just as clearly.

God did not design you to do life alone. He wants you surrounded by encouragement, love, and support. He wants you to truly live your life to the fullest, not just survive it.

The same power that lives in Jesus lives in you. That truth alone can change everything.
