Created on Purpose

Do you ever feel like God is not there or like your prayers are not reaching Him? If you have felt this way, I want you to know you are not alone.

I wrestled with those same thoughts for a long time, and they created a quiet insecurity in my heart. I felt disconnected, unloved, unworthy, and unseen. If you are reading this, there is a good chance you can relate. It took me a long time to truly understand what was happening. After years of trying to figure life out on my own, I finally stopped and asked a different question.

“Why did God put me on this earth in the first place? If I am here, then there must be a reason.”

What I discovered was much simpler than I expected. God created you uniquely on purpose. The Bible tells us that God has a plan for our lives and that His plan is for good. That can be hard to believe, especially when life has been painful and confusing. So often we listen to lies instead. We tell ourselves we are not good enough, that we do not belong, that no one really cares, that we are not capable, that we cannot change, and that we are not loved. We live in a world full of noise, negativity, and untruths that drown out what God is doing in and around us.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 7:7-8 that when we ask, we receive; when we seek, we find; and when we knock, the door is opened.

The question is, are you asking for help? Are you seeking wisdom? Are you willing to knock?

When I finally accepted the help I needed, something shifted inside me. I began to understand that no rejection and no circumstance could cancel what God created me for. He gave me a purpose that no one could stop or take away. That truth changed my life, and it can change yours, too.

You cannot fully receive the love of others until you first understand the depth of God’s love for you.

My prayer for you this week is that you will begin to find freedom from past hurts and gently lean into the truth God speaks over your life. He wants you to feel His love. He wants you to trust His truth. He wants you to walk in the purpose He created just for you.

Take a moment today and make this declaration out loud.

I was created on purpose with a purpose only I can fulfill. I will keep asking God to guide me. I will keep seeking ways to grow and change. I will keep knocking on the doors of opportunity. I will walk in my God-given purpose. Thank You, God, for loving me.

With love and encouragement,

Robin
